Fianna Veterans Honour The ’countess’ (1950)

Full title reads: “Fianna Veterans Honour The ’Countess’.“ Dublin Castle, Eire, Southern Ireland, Republic of Ireland. VS of Irish soldiers and veterans of the 26th Fianna Battalion form up for a special parade. They march off to the National Museum carrying the original Fianna Standard. The parade is to pay a tribute to Countess Markievicz - founder of the Fianna and fighter in the Easter rising. The Countess’ Service Certificate is handed over by Eamon Martin to Mr Sean McBride to be kept in the National Museum.
