Referee Nicholas Pope scored it 73-69 and Judge Eloy Gonzalcs 74-66 for Accavallo, but Japanese Ko Toyama gave it to Takayama 70-71. The United Press International card had it 70-66 for Accavallo. Accavallo will be recognized as the world flyweight champion by the World Boxing Association and the World Boxing Council, but he must defend against Hiroyuki Ebihara, the WBA’
