Angry motorist pepper sprays climate activists in the face

An angry motorist in Germany took matters into his own hands and unleashed a can of pepper spray on climate activists blocking peak-hour traffic in Berlin last week. Climate activists from the Last Generation group were staging protests in Berlin, Germany on September 18 when the incident occurred. They blocked key roads during rush hour, leading to traffic jams and queues of furious commuters beginning the working day. The group’s goal is to raise awareness about the threat of global warming and push for stronger government action on greenhouse gas emissions. Last Generation acknowledges that their protests are provocative but argues it’s necessary to stimulate public debate on climate change. On Sunday, they disrupted the Berlin Marathon by throwing orange paint and lying on the road before the start of the race.
