Today we’re playing Brigand Oaxaca, a strange odyssey through a kitchen sink post apocalypse set in a place few can pronounce, with demons, ninjas, pirates, and juicers. An immersive sim styled highly difficult RPG made by one man over ten years in Darkbasic, it’s janky, more than half broken, and weirdly charming when it’s not being infuriating, sold on the idea that you will “die a lot, and you’ll like it.“ Does that stand up?
