Constructed from a lux black leather, Val’s colorway bleeds through to blue with age. This vulcanised skate silhouette features a scratch-off leather complimented by original artwork by close friend Delapaix. Our revisited vulcanised skate silhouette runs our signature Shockbed™ insole for impact control and Super-V™ outsole for enhanced grip and board feel. Tested and developed for skateboarding by our team. “I leant towards the Surplus silhouette as I felt it had the most potential for something good-looking and casual. I went for Leather as it’s important to me that the shoe lasts longer whilst looking even better when worn in; hence the bleeding black to blue feature as it wears in. The little angel featured throughout the shoe was drawn by one of my best friends, and artist Delapaix, who’s been tattooing me a lot through the years. This particular angel, I have tattooed on my back and it pays hommage to my late grandmother. My ultimate goal was to design a shoe that I would be stoked to skate in everyday.
