Returning to the 4-ply maple with 4-ply Reinforcement Rings shell of his first signature model, the Dennis Chambers Signature Snare Drum features an articulate sound that fits well in any playing field. Using the multi-lug design of his previous model, the shell employs ten tuning points on the batter head and eight on the bottom. The SR300 Philharmonic Strainer, which features three individually tunable six-strand snappy wire snares, can be engaged or disengaged to sculpt the sound further. Pearl’s reliably durable Mastercast Die-Cast Hoops also add weight for increased projection.
