Romania: Dozens commemorate late Ceausescu on 100th Birthday

Dozens of Communist party members and supporters commemorated the former ruler of Socialist Romania Nicolae Ceausescu at his grave in Bucharest on Friday on what would have been his 100th birthday. A priest performed a religious service as participants drank wine, ate traditional Romanian alms and decried the dire situation of their country.
