🚆 Escaping the fog with stunning views over Lake Zürich (Cab Ride Switzerland | S24 Zug - Zürich)

It’s been a while since we have been on this route. Welcome aboard the S24 service from Zug to Zürich! It connects Zug with Zürich Main Station and then continues further to Winterthur, where the line is split in two: One terminus is Thayngen, the other is Weinfelden. These parts of the route run only hourly, while everything between Zug and Winterthur runs half-hourly. It is also one of the very few S-Bahn Zurich lines that serve the main hall in Zurich and the only one that continues further from there. It is a relatively short ride through beautiful nature, the disused station of Sihlbrugg, two old single-track tunnels and stunning views over Lake Zurich and the city of Zurich while slowly descending into the city.
