Lots of glamorous women in latest fashions and men in top hats and morning suits. There are a few shots of ordinary race-goers eating picnics on the heath. Panning L/S of grand stand. M/S of large board with names and numbers of jockeys. M/S of start of race, we see gate go up. Various shots of horses racing around the track.
