M60A1 Armored Vehicle Launched Bridge In Action

U.S. Army Soldiers with the 316th Mobility Augmentation Company deploy an M60A1 Armored Vehicle Launched Bridge (AVLB) during a Combined Arms Breach exercise at Fort McCoy, Wisconsin on August 23, 2015. The M60A1 AVLB is an armored vehicle based on the M60 Patton main battle tank chassis used for the launching and retrieval of a 60 feet scissors-type bridge.
