At least 25 million people in Sudan battling hunger and malnutrition

At least 25 million people are struggling to feed themselves in Sudan as thousands are displaced into South Sudan and Chad every week, the UN’s World Food Program warned on Monday. This is much higher compared to the initial projection of 15 million, an assessment made in August last year, demonstrating how rapidly the food security situation is worsening.
