#band ligation of gastric polyp

A 62-year-old woman was admitted to the endoscopy unit for a follow-up endoscopy for her esophageal varices. The patient underwent upper digestive endoscopy. The scope revealed a small polyp in the gastric body. Band ligation was done for this small polyp. Also, band ligation was done for three esophageal varices. The banding of the polyp is more complex than the banding of the varices.
