Installing and Configuring OpenJFX (Open JavaFX) 13 on Apache NetBeans 11.2
After you have Apache NetBeans 11.2 (11.1 or higher for the forseeable future, in fact should work) installed with OpenJDK 13 (or higher) as shown in part 0 of the video series, you are now ready to install and configure OpenJFX 13. Note that Open JavaFX version must MATCH the OpenJDK version.
And even though Apache NetBeans 11.2 appears to have JavaFX integrated, it requires JDK 1.8 which has commercial baggage associated with it... so in keeping with the Open Source, or at least completely free, spirit of what Java was originally founded on, I offer this video to help with keeping ALL open source and free versions of the software.
