DIY Leanne Ford’s Crate & Barrel Art Decor Piece / Crate & Barrel Dupe
🠖 Visit to see my hand-crafted candle line! 💕
You guys! I am so in love with this art piece. The story behind this woven art piece is actually a funny one. I kept seeing this piece pop up in catalogs, on Instagram, and even on tv. Every time I would see it’d catch my eye and I’d fall in love all over again.
Long story short my sister sent me a video while she was at Crate & Barrel of this art piece. She showed me a video of the wall art up close and personal and I was able to see the detail and get an idea of what it looked like in person. I grabbed my purse and went hunting for supplies!
This project cost a total of $100-110 when all was said and done. It is quite a savings from the $300 price tag at Crate and Barrel but just a fair warning it is definitely a project that takes time and patience. Weaving is a lot like knitting or crocheting, it takes time.
This is a great piece to add a lot of texture and interest to a space. I love the natural and organic feel it brings. It sounds funny but I can stand and stare at all of the patterns and it makes for a really interesting piece of art.
It’s a beautiful neutral color and can really add a statement to any decor style whether it may be a boho, modern, rustic. It can really fit into a lot of great styles!
