🇬🇧 Queen Elizabeth II & Her Inspirational Wartime Speech 🇬🇧

In 1940, as the Battle of Britain was raging in the skies above, Prime Minister Winston Churchill asked a young Princess Elizabeth II to speak on the radio to give encouragement to the children of Britain who had been evacuated in the face of Hitler’s onslaught. It would be her first public address to Britain and the world. Queen Elizabeth II would go on to serve in WWII before becoming the longest serving Queen of England. She passed away on September 8th, 2022.
