Parachute School (1956)

Chobham, Surrey. Scenes at the British Parachute School at Fairoaks Aerodrome. Narrator tells the history of the club which has 7 women amongst its membership of 36. We see some of the members practising their fall technique. C/U of one of the female members being told how to fall properly. M/S of three members practising how to pack a parachute. C/Us of some of the members. Some wear jump-suits, others nice cardigans and ties. C/U of a female member putting on a helmet. She looks rather glam with red lipstick and a fake fur coat.
