Rhythm: Tiriba - Fanka version (Individual djembe dunun demo and performance)
Tiriba is a rhythm of the Landuma people, from the West region of Guinea.
Long time ago, Tiriba is actually a nickname given to a great dancer. When he passed on, the rhythm is played for the initiation of young girls. The rhythm eventually became so popular that it is now played at many festivities.
Today, Tiriba is also a popular rhythm at dance classes too.
