Take Care Of Our Children (Don’t Drive Drunk) was a charity single recorded by Anita Heilker of the Dolly Dots, Kyle, Julie Forsyth & Dominic Grant. It was written and produced by Dutch producers Peter van Asten, Edwin Schimscheimer and Richard de Bois. It reached the tipparade on June 21, 1986. We publish this video to commemorate the first anniversary of Dominic Grant’s death on November 20, 2020 Grant & Forsyth was a British country-pop - duo that with cover versions of international hits mainly in the Netherlands had successes. Julie Forsyth is the daughter of English show master Bruce Forsyth. Dominic Grant had a top 20 hit in the Dutch charts as early as 1982 with the solo single ’I Won’t Let Me Down’. The two musicians were members of the English vocal group Guys ’n’ Dolls from 1974 until their dissolution in December 1985 , which performed with hits like ’There’s a Whole Lot of Loving’ (1975) and ’You Don’t Have to Say You Love Me’ (1976) and ’You’re My World’ (1977).
