Zacherle’s teen dance show aired on UHF channel 47 WNJU in Newark, New Jersey from 1965 to 1967. Wilson Pickett’s “Stag-O-Lee”, a cover of “Stagger Lee”, (Lloyd Price’s version hit #1 in 1959) entered the charts today (Nov. 4) at #58 and will peak at #22 in December. “Light My Fire” peaked at #1 for 3 weeks back in July and August.
