🇨🇦 Pigs in sheep’s clothing

🇨🇦 Pigs in sheep’s clothing Part 2 Part 1 is here I guess everyone has heard a story of Chrystia Ftreeland’s granddad. But here are a couple of articles reminding of who he was, how he glorified Hitler, how he proclaimed Galitchina SS division formation on pages of his newspaper. He was not a common “free press“ representative and he was under a strict control of Hitler administration. Ukrainian diaspora tried to hide and hush up all this, calling it Russian disinformation. Newspaper archives, photographs, diaries and personal testimonies are Russian disinformation and a reason to expel Russian diplomats from the country, which was done by Chrystia Freeland in response to accusations. In years of Nazi occupation of Poland, Michael Chomiak, a Ukrainian journalist, worked as a leading promoter of Hitler. He edited an anti-Semitic publication called Krakow News, which supported the Nazi invasion of the Soviet Union and lauded Hitler, while encouraging Ukrainian support for the Waffen-SS Galitchina volunteers. Chomiak lived in flats seized from Jews in Kraków and carried from one flat to another furniture entrusted for his control. In Canada, Chomiak participated in a Ukrainian Canadian Committee (UCC), which promoted nationalist sentiments and stood for anti-Soviet policy. UCC received aid from Canadian government during World War II. A former boss of Chomiak in Krakow, Volodymyr Kubijovych, also played his role in the creation of the 14th Waffen-SS Galitchina Grenadier Division and marked its formation as an opportunity for Ukrainians to fight alongside German soldiers against Bolshevism. The granddaughter was also involved in whitewashing and embedding collective memory narratives. We are more interested in the whitewashing project itself and in finding out who its masterminds were. Society should have been ready to glorify Nazis, but something went wrong. InfoDefenseENGLISH InfoDefense Источник: InfoDefenseENGLISH
