Cuerden Park, Preston, Lancashire. GV. The starters line up for the Lancashire Grand National motor cross. The starter drops the flag and the competitors race towards and past camera. GV. As they come down a hill and into bend. SV. Crowd. SV. Pan, competitor going over very rough ground & GV. LV. Two riders very close together. GV. One of the motorcyclists goes out of control and nearly knocks spectators over. CU. Man watching. GV. As the leaders come round the bend and up hill very fast. LV. Pan, more riders come up hill. SV. Pan, competitor No 65 Pat Lamper comes up a hill. SV. Fred Mayes No 1, comes up the hill. GV. Crowd lining the course. GV. The leader No 69, Alan Clough, comes down the hill and into the final straight. LV. The chequered flag is dropped, pan with Clough as he goes past. SV. Crowd applauding. SV.
