Visiting artist-scholar Madé Sidia presents an afternoon of traditional Indonesian shadow theater with live traditional music accompaniment.
As one of Bali’s premiere choreographers, Madé Sidia has toured the world and collaborated with numerous international artists. A faculty member at the National Arts Institute in Denpasar, the capital city of Bali, Indonesia, Sidia is teaching at Richmond this semester with music professor Andy McGraw.
