Prisoner of War: Dr. Mutulu Shakur’s Lifelong Struggle for Black Liberation w/ Kalonji Changa
On July 6, former political prisoner Dr. Mutulu Shakur passed away at 72. Dr. Shakur spent 37 years in prison following the mass suppression of the Black liberation movement of the 1960s and 70s and was only released from prison in 2022 after being diagnosed with terminal cancer. Kalonji Changa, Co-Founder of Black Power Media, discusses Dr. Shakur’s revolutionary life and legacy and the ongoing fight to free all political prisoners.
