Skyhopper Flight Highlights (July 3, 2016)

Excerpts from a 90 minute flight using a DIY “Vibex“ type anti-vibration camera mount (SJcam SJ5000X elite goPro clone), which stills needs tweaking, but so far, this is the most “stable“ footage I’ve been able to get (using a 7-foot tube bolted to the wing tip spar). Morning air at 7:30 was exceptionally calm -- surface to upwards of 2,000 ft (as evidenced by the straight upward plume of steam from TVA’s Sequoia Nuclear Plant 20 miles away). Filled her up with 5 gallons of E0 87 and burned 3.5 gals equals g/hours burn rate. 50 miles on this single flight equals mpg.
