Tombak Academy by Ziya Tabassian - Level 2, ep. 6 – Pish-Riz (Ornament before the roll)

Tombak Academy by Ziya Tabassian - Level 2, ep. 6 – Pish-Riz (Ornament before the roll) Tombak is the main percussion instrument in Persian music. The name of the instrument comes from the two basic sounds of the drum : the Tom and the Bak. In the second level, we are working with the 5 basics sounds of the Tombak : Tom (T), Bak (B), Plang (P), reh (r) and leh (l). In the last episodes, we learned how to play reh (r) leh (l) and Plang (P) and also we learned about “Eshareh” which is the Ornament before the Tom or Bak. In this video, we are going to practice the start and the end of the roll (riz) with Tom or Bak. If you want to get the notation and the worksheet of the exercises in this video, you can contact me!
