SEPTA Route 15 and the PCC Trolley Cars - SEPTA TrAcSe 2019
Philadelphia is one of the few cities in the world that still operates PCC cars (let alone traditional streetcars) in revenue service. These are the 1947 St. Louis Car Co. 2700 series and the 1948 St. Louis Car Co. 2100 series PCC cars, rebuilt between 2003-2004 by Brookville, and Renumbered to 2320-2337. These trolley cars can be seen exclusively on route 15 out of Callowhill Depot. From 2010-2011 these cars received another upgrade, replacing the original roll signs with TwinVision LED signs.
