Coming from Bergen or Kristiansund, after a visit to Geiranger or on your way to the Atlantic Road you have to plan and spent time in Ålesund! The great atmosphere of the city is located on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean, on the narrow piece of land between fjords and surrounded by mountains touching the sky. First, you will be enchanted by the mountain views that open between streets, the endless ocean on the horizon, and then worried about people living here, that they might get used to it. The best place to the best view of the city is made by nature - Aksla Mount. Viewpoint in the city center that you can reach climbing on your foot or just drive up to the mount by car. We took a drive there two times to see the city at noon and later to enjoy the sunset that you will see in this video!
