Slunks - Loop Hero Medley (ft. Victor Jones)

Blinch released one of my favorite Halloween-synth/rock/metal soundtracks of the year with Loop Hero. Much like the game, the soundtrack dips into different genres and I knew I had to some something with it once I heard it. Blinch does an outstanding job stylizing the OST towards the game’s atmosphere. My goal was to take the main old-school Loop Hero sound, surround it by full instrumentation, and mix it with live guitar/drums for a fun time. Huge thanks to the amazing Victor “Tbone“ Jones (and his stache) for his wonderful assistance on this one. We worked hard on it. So hard, that we have a full breakdown of the production timeline below for anyone wanting to nerd out on how much time/effort goes into making an almost solid 9 minutes of material.
