Machining Delcam’s ’Boris the Spider’ on a Hermle C50U with PowerMILL

The `giant Boris’ was machined at the 2013 open house exhibition hosted by Delcam partners Hermle machines in Germany. Boris was milled on a 5-axis Hermle C 50 U dynamics, equipped with rotary table, from a 145 mm thick aluminum plate (AlMgSi1) with 700 mm diameter complete in one setup.
