Faceoff e04: Ryzen 7 5800X3D (8 Core) vs Ryzen 5 5600X (6 Core) Escape From Tarkov 1080P Comparison

TL;DR - The 5800X3D is the best value for a top tier gaming CPU ever. I believe it will remain in the top tier of gaming CPUs even when Zen 4 and Raptor Lake. Even though it may fall a bit behind the next generation powerhouses, its strength will be its value. I predict it will still hang with the best gaming CPUs, but the bang for the back that the Ryzen 7 5800X3D offers will be continue to go unmatched. I used the same complementary hardware for both CPUs (specs below). The 5600X was overclocked while the 5800X3D was undervolted because these were the best methods I found for squeezing out the most performance out of each chip. Low values are skewed because the numbers were inaccurate from switching in and out of menus and alt-tabbing in and out of the game in raid. However, this is a normal part of the game and I will come up with a mechanism to accurately capture the lows going forward.
