I just got back from the East Coast of Canada. After eating a few bowls of chowder there, I had to come back and try to make it myself. I made the most delicious creamy bacon cauliflower chowder and the outcome was incredible. I know that most chowders are made with seafood, but Iām not a seafood lover. Thatās why I replaced the seafood with bacon and cauliflower.
Having thought more about it, Iām sure the soup would go well with broccoli or even squash. What a comfort food for a cool rainy day. Believe me, after trying this, you will never buy soup again.
