Tammy’s Reef

Visit this beautiful 800-g in-home reef with me. 10’ x 4’ x 32“ with a 200g Melev’s Reef sump beneath. As with any reef, it’s a work in progress with more features being added often. The light rack system uses a hidden winch to adjust the height. Tammy feeds her babies often, and they follow her around as she tends to its needs. The noise level you hear in this video really isn’t anywhere near as obvious as it seems - ambient noise levels are pretty normal at 32db, but the iPhone microphone makes it seem much louder. Talking in the livingroom was comfortable (I really have to buy some external microphones!) and quiet. An interesting point to me is that Tammy has figured out animal husbandry without the assistance of other hobbyists, forums or a club to turn to. Music by Ross Bugden. “New Frontiers“
