Oscura Heterospila is one of the most colourful fishes in Central America with a hint of gold, green, pink and what not. A small colony of 5 grew up together from 1.5“ over a period of approximately 1year. There is an alpha male which dominates the rest of the tank but is soft on the ladies. The biggest irony being, he is not happy with just one female and has created a family with 2 gorgeous females who compete with each other for his love. The females are around 4“ while the male is currently 6“ . They share their tank with pineapple swordtails.
