Sculpt a Face with Jonni’s Home-Made Air Dry Clay

You can use the techniques in this video to make any kind of face - it doesn’t have to be a silly Wild Man - but this one was fun. This video is long because it shows you the entire process of sculpting a face, from making the initial “mask form“ armature, to sculpting the details with the Silky-Smooth Air Dry Clay, to finishing him with a light brown glaze. You don’t need to use the WED clay for the initial form - any kind of clay will work. Use whatever kind you have on hand. If you’d like a quick head start for paper mache masks, animal sculptures and faux trophy mounts, check out my premium patterns at Links for Items mentioned in the video: Silky-Smooth Air Dry Clay recipe: WED Modeling Clay: Giants Book mentioned in video: Richard Austin’s Sculpta-Face DVD page: (no longer online. :( David Lemon’s
