Kundru vegetable is a perfect and healthy recipe for lunch or dinner. As a side dish it is equally good with daal-chawal or chapati or plain paratha. Kundru or ivy gourd have an appearance, as that of parwal (pointed gourd). Kundru is a green vegetable also called Giloda, Tendli, Tindora, Kinru, Tendali, Tondali, Kovakka, Coccinia or ivy gourd.
It is a great source of soluble fiber and is also rich in Vitamin A and C. There are various ways to prepare this sabzi. It requires very few ingredients like onion and some easily available spices to prepare it.
