Parents plead not guilty to manslaughter for death of baby mauled by dogs

Rochester, N.Y. (WHAM) — The 19-year-old parents of a 3-month-old boy mauled to death by dogs on the city’s northwest side earlier this month pleaded not guilty to manslaughter. Police said the pair left the baby and the two “pit bull-type“ dogs in the attic of the home they were staying at and went downstairs to smoke marijuana. When they returned, the baby was unresponsive.
