Gesala

In the river valleys of the alpine mountains of Pingwu County, Mianyang, Sichuan Province, a group of Baima tribal communities live. Their houses are built on the mountains. The superior natural environment makes their lives seem isolated from the rest of the world, and at the same time endows the Baima Tibetan people with a free and bold temperament. However, on the slopes opposite the snow-capped mountains, the left-behind girl Gesala has been happily copying the snow-capped mountains with a pencil for years, her eyes full of longing, in her heart, she can be reunited with her family after crossing this tall snow-capped mountain. In order to support the family, Gesala’s parents took her younger brother to leave the mountain to the city to make a living, leaving Gesala alone with her grandmother. In the eyes of her peers, such as Geru, Gesala became a child who was “abandoned” by her parents, and was often teased and fooled by them. Fortunately, with the company of her good friend Zhuo Ma and the correct guidance of tax official Li Li, Gesala always stood firm on her dream, and finally broke the prejudice of all people with her paintings in a theme activity of Taxation in School.
