Nightgaunt (Catalunya/US) — Visitant — 2022 full length

The debut of this project. A vast power of blackness is forged here, drenched in hatred and suffering, where you have the lyrics accessible to better direct the tale told. Apart from that concept, what works perfectly here is a black metal approach quite close to Vothana’s. It is definitely amazing is this duel between mighty vocals and the formidable guitar playing, sending pretty much to the background the bass and drumming that is also marvellous but very overshadowed. This sort of setup is quite hard to dislike, as it channels perfectly the darkness towards the listener. Not only good in terms of songwriting work but also lyrically and instrumental performance.
