HDC Fault and Fix Land Rover Discovery 3 & 4 (This video shows another HDC Fault, this time Air Suspension which you may find interesting: ) This fault occurred on on my LR 3 recently. The display read: HDC Fault System not available System Fault Special Programs not Available And the air suspension dropped to the low position Firstly I checked the battery which was a bit low. Charging was good at well over 14 volts. The battery was over 6 years old so I replaced it with a new Varta without any effect. I traced the fault to a loose plastic ring on the steering column, that should turn with the column and operate the steering angle sensor. I have explained in the video the steps I took to repair it using some Areldite epoxy resin. ————————————————— Chapters 0:00 - Introduction 0:40 - Fault code error Steering Angle Sensor 0:50 - Steering angle sensor location and trim removal 1:10 - Removing brake lig
