苗刀二路 Miao Dao form two (Chinese long saber practice form two)

2000 years old ancient Chinese long saber technique which combines skills of sword, staff and spear. The name Miao Dao means “wheat sprout saber“, presumably referring to a likeness between the weapon and a newly sprouted wheat. Miao Dao is a decedent version of a variety of ancient Chinese long sabers, such as the Han Long Saber and Cutting Horse Long Saber. Miao Dao Skills have been developed by martial artists of different dynasties to pass down form one, two and four to our time. Along with the One hand saber, Miao Dao was also used by some Chinese troops during the WWII to fight with Japanese army.
