The land is flat and suitable for growing turmeric. Farmers grow and prepare turmeric to be sold at spice markets. One of these farmers is Ram Ekwal Saha. Ram Ekwal and his wife have six daughters and two sons. They have always hoped to be able to provide an education for their children, but progressing economically is difficult in Sangrampur.
