Super quick, easy, and cheap to make, it’s a perfect banchan to make in big batches to eat throughout the week. Ingredients: 6 fish cakes (200-250 grams) 1/2 onion 1 green onion 1 tbs minced garlic 1 cheongyang pepper (optional) 3 tbs soy sauce: 3 tbs water 1 tbs sugar 1 tbs corn syrup or honey, or add another tbs sugar: sesame oil: sesame seeds cooking oil Recipe: 1. Chop onion and green onions, cut fishcakes to bite sizes, and mix soy sauce, water, sugar, and corn syrup in a bowl. 2. Add cooking oil to a pan on medium heat then add in garlic and fish cake then mix. Cook until slightly golden. 3. Add in onions, mix it around, then add in sauce and mix. 4. Turn off the heat and add in green onions, cheongyang pepper, sesame seeds, drizzle of sesame oil and mix together using the residual heat.
