RCMP Musical Ride 2017 - CANADA 150 Swangard Stadium & Vancouver PNE August, 2017. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police performed it’s world famous RCMP Musical Ride on Aug 18, 2017 at the Swangard Stadium in Burnaby and in Vancouver PNE Pacific National Exhibition on August 19th and 20th. It was to celebrate Canada 150 (Canada’s 150th birthday or the anniversary of the Canadian Confederacy). The RCMP Musical Ride featuring the Royal Canadian Mounted Police mounted on horseback (a troop of 32 horses and riders) and galloping in style at Swangard Stadium in Burnaby BC on August 18, 2017. The mounted police perform choreographed cavalry drills to music to help celebrate Canada 150, Canada’s 150th anniversary of Canadian Confederation and Burnaby’s 125th birthday (Burnaby 125).
