FULL: Charlie Kirk assassination suspect appears by video from jail

We have learned today that prosecutors plan to file a notice of intent to seek the death penalty against Tyler James Robinson, the man accused of killing conservative activist Charlie Kirk. Robinson appeared in court Tuesday, via video from the Utah County Jail, where he is being held without bail. Prosecutors have now formally charged Robinson with aggravated murder, among other charges and a judge will eventually determine whether Robinson could face the death penalty. Authorities have said Robinson climbed onto a rooftop during Kirk’s appearance at Utah Valley University. They say he later opened fire, killing the 31-year-old founder of Turning Point USA before fleeing. Robinson was later arrested near his hometown and booked on suspicion of aggravated murder, obstruction of justice, and felony discharge of a firearm causing serious bodily harm.
