Urmiye’li Aşıq Esger - Nar Ağacı (Turkish Music)

Ashiq Esger Sa’id is a talented Turkish artist, singer and, Qopuz and drum player from Urmia, the second largest city of South Azerbaijan and capital of Iran’s West Azerbaijan province. Despite his young age, Esger Sa’id has already distinguished himself as a highly regarded Ashiq of both Urmia and Qaradağ Schools of Ashiq Music. He is also renowned for his shamanistic performances. Esger Sa’id’s father, Ashiq Bulut is one of the great masters of Urmia School of Ashiq Music.
