Wartime Doordeal — Matushka & Gazelle of Death

Matushka is a psychedelic rock band from , Russia. I had the honour to be a part of their 2016 tour which was powered by Gazelle Of Death - famous russian punk van. The leg I did as a roadie was Greece / Bulgaria / Turkey / Georgia. Why Wartime Deal? Because the political sitiuation at that time was like : War in Siria, Turkey had suffered 2 terroristic acts by the time the tour had to begin, so the vibe promoters delivered about rock concerts was “everyone is afraid to attend gigs, so don’t expect much“ - Thesalloniki (Greece) - Xanti (Greece) - Istanbul (Turkey) - Ankara (Turkey) - Samsun (Turkey) - Tbilisi (Georgia) - Kutaisi (Georgia)
