Što Te Nema by Aleska Šantić/Dušan Bogdanović

Što te Nema is a song for voice and guitar that Dušan Bogdanović composed based on a song and poem from the Sevdalinka tradition, authored by Aleksa Šantić. This video was recorded during my performance for the opening of the Classical Guitar Corner workshop at the Tenri Institute in New York, in June 2022. That was our first in-person event in a long time, which made it even more special. Playing and sharing our music among friends, colleagues and students was something I’ve missed tremendously! I decided to celebrate such a special evening with this beautiful song that I learned for the occasion (please be forgiving with my pronunciation, I’m still working on it 🙈).
