This ancient culture is used to celebrate the beginning of spring and the revival of nature. Among the rituals of the Suri Wednesday celebration are the greening of wheat as a symbol of blessing, the coloring of eggs as a symbol of fertility, and the lighting of fire to overcome light over darkness.
