Analyzing Primary and Secondary Sources in a Middle School History Class

Demonstration Teacher, Gina Baragone, demonstrates how she has students analyze and evaluate secondary and primary sources on a unit asking the question, “Was Alexander Great“? Students work with a variety of sources before evaluating claims, and finish with a structured debate in which they make their own claims and counter-arguments.
