Deathspell Omega has made some of my favorite music, especially Paracletus. As with a lot of the most effective and unique art of the world, some of the best work comes from tragic and unfortunate places. Works of art created in all forms, from art, comedy, film, literature, and music can be manifested by greatly conflicted artists. It’s very hard to separate the art from the artist.
